About Us - History

Rhondama Limited was formed in 1974 and has earned an excellent reputation as a distributor, manufacturer and supplier of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Rotary Shaft and Bonded Seals; Wipers, ‘O’ Rings, Circlips and many other ancillary products.

Back in 2002, Rhondama made a conscious decision to change the structure of the Company to encompass new technology, new products and to move into new markets both in the UK and Europe. As part of this change, stocks have been rationalised to incorporate less bulk storage but an increased stock range. This allows us to reduce our product costs and offer these savings and wider product ranges to our customers.

Incorporated into Rhondama’s re-structured change we became a Partner Distributor for Busak + Shamban who are the world’s leading manufacturer of PTFE based products. This addition to Rhondama’s product range enables us to provide a comprehensive range of quality sealing solutions. Coupled with our comprehensive product portfolio, Rhondama have a skilled and dedicated workforce that have many years of Seal Industry knowledge. We are only too happy to assist you with any sealing query or problem which may arise.

Our in-house manufacturing department has recently been upgraded with the latest state of the art CNC Software, enabling us to produce seals from 5mm and up to 2500mm OD. Profiles of our machining capability can be viewed on our manufacturing page. Note also that we have no minimum order quantity, allowing our customers more flexibility when ordering.

We have reorganised our raw material stock holding to include the latest materials available for Seal Manufacturing and we are able to provide our customers with the following:- Polyurethane (PU) compounds, Rubbers including NBR, EPDM, FPM and Silicone, Plastics such as Polyacetal and UHMW-PE, PTFE compounds including virginal, bronze, glass, carbon and graphite. All stocks, where available, are procured in accordance with the American FDA CFR 21.177-2600 Standard (Food Quality). Certification is available on all orders for these materials, where appropriate, upon request.
