Hydraulic seals are either captured in a groove or fixed in a combination to form a seal assembly as they block or separate fluid in reciprocating motion applications. Their ability to move various equipment in a controlled manner is an essential part of today’s requirements.
Hydraulic seals can be made from a variety of materials, determined by the conditions under which they will be used. Materials include polyurethanes, rubbers , thermoplastics or PTFE. Each of these is affected in different ways by temperature, fluid type, pressure, and chemical compatibility.
